Cagrilintide - innovative new generation drug, which is a prolonged analogue of amylain, a pancreatic hormone that is secreted together with insulin. Its action is based on stimulation of amylain and calcitonin receptors (DACRA). Amylain normally regulates the feeling of satiety, slows down the rate of gastric emptying and thus helps to control appetite.
